IT Regional Manager Required in Dubai

Job Purpose:

Facilitate improved IT services for Bahri Business Units and Fleet through the development and implementation of necessary action plans, in compliance with IT Service Management framework, to ensure that user satisfaction and IT SLAs are met.

Key Accountabilities:

Policies & Procedures:

Set and enforce IT Service Management and Information Security policies/procedures to ensure compliance with ITSM and ISM standards

Services:

Provide, manage, and administer the IT Service Management Processes (IT incident management, service management, problem, change management, Service Level Agreement) for Dubai office and Bahri fleet
Oversee the installation and setup of IT services
Ensure the availability of required hardware, software, and other tools necessary for the delivery of high quality IT services
Conduct inspections to ensure IT equipment and workstations are operational
Oversee the maintenance, repair or replacement of IT assets
Maintain accurate inventory of hardware, software, and other relevant technological tools
Act as a liaison between IT and business units (Business Relationship Manager and IT point of contact)
Direct the provisioning of new and enhanced services as per requirements, ensuring IT demand is captured from the all Bahri Business units, providing key input for the creation and maintenance of overall IT Strategy
Research, analyze, deploy, and support specialized IT solutions that will fulfil the technology demands of the business unit

Vendor Management

Manage vendor and supplier relationships for procurement of IT services and products. Ensure proper evaluation & selection is made to enhance IT services across Bahri

Training

Oversee the hiring and training of IT service technicians and operators

Leadership & Team Management

Direct and supervise the IT service teams (Office/Vessel IT support technicians, IT helpdesk specialist/analysts) to ensure effective performance of IT services
Work around annual budgets to achieve set objectives and targets
Manage related IT projects and meet project plans
Conduct assessments to identify technology initiatives and possible future IT challenges and take necessary steps in minimizing risks

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering, Information technology or equivalent, Masters degree preferred.
10 years of experience in IT service management (3-4 years as Manager) for Maritime sector is a must.
