Security System Operator Required in Dubai

IIQAF is looking for a Security System Operator to join our team! The Security System Operator is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the daily security operations of IIQAF. This role requires a self-motivated and dependable individual who can work independently as well as in a team environment. This role involves a mix of technical analysis coupled with operational oversight of security systems and processes, plus monitoring and proactively managing the Security System Infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Monitor security system operations and processes, and analyze system logs to ensure security system integrity and identify security incidents
Maintain and update security policies and procedures
Assess the privileges and roles of users in the systems, and maintain the security system documentation
Troubleshoot security system issues and recommend solutions
Monitor and respond to escalated network security incidents
Analyze vulnerabilities from internal and external sources
Report security issues to management for mitigation and updating security protocols
Create and recommend strategies to improve security system operations
Respond to user inquiries regarding Security System performance

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
2 years’ experience in Network Security
Strong understanding of Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention and Detection Systems, Network Access Control, Intrusion Detection Systems, and Log Analysis
Experience with scripting languages (Python, Perl, Bash, etc.)
Knowledge of cyber security standards (such as NIST, ISO, etc.)
Ability to identify complex security challenges and generate quick and accurate response plans
Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
