IT Systems Specialist Required in Dubai - Dubai

The IT Systems Specialist is responsible for providing technical support to resolve hardware and software issues for users, assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems and networks. Assist in troubleshooting network problems and ensuring connectivity. And help with system upgrades and maintenance tasks. Learning and adapting new technologies and tools. This position reports to the IT Service Manager or to TTL.

Duties Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing technical support to staff.

• Provide troubleshooting and problem-solving services for staff concerning hardware and software

• Network administration experience with an emphasis on Microsoft Windows 11, Microsoft Exchange online and Microsoft Office suite.
• Ensure that the LAN is running smoothly and efficiently.

• Proactively advise management on software and hardware needs.

• Purchase, install and maintain software on all computers.

• Administer data back-up system, restore as required.

• Design and administer virus protection procedures.
• Communicate all product procurement requirements to the Procurement officer
• Obtain technical support from vendors as required in a coordinated effort with the procurement office
• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement solutions and upgrades.
• Support in monitoring system performance and security measures.
• Document technical processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

• 0-2 years of systems administration experience
• A degree on Information technology or similar degree.
• MS Products: Office, Project, Visio, etc.
• Basic Knowledge of Microsoft server 2016/2019/2022
• Basic Knowledge of Active Directory, and Azure AD, Office 365 administration
• Windows 11 Administration

• Basic Knowledge of the following protocols and technologies: DNS, DHCP, Backups, VPN, Firewalls, RAID Systems, FTP Server
• Troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with various Operating Systems
• Basic Knowledge of virtualization, Hyper-V, VMWare or equivalent
• professional certification, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSE) is an added value
