IT Specialist Required in Dubai

As an IT Support Specialist, you will be in charge of providing end-users with technical assistance and support in resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues. You will be responsible for ensuring that computer systems run smoothly, ensuring that users can successfully use technological resources, and troubleshooting problems as they emerge.

Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)
Act as the initial point of contact for all computer and system related concerns from clients or other employees
Install and configure computer systems and applications within the company
Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration
Provide prompt and accurate feedback to employees
Assist managing fixed assets of the company
Assist management in creating training materials pertaining to computer troubleshooting and usage
Organize and file documentation pertaining to warranties and instructional guides for computer hardware

Requirements and skills

Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication ability
Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
Degree in Computer Science, engineering or relevant field

Key Skills

Interpersonal, problem-solving, and listening skills; familiarity with operating systems, backup and database software, and use of equipment like mainframe computers, computer tool kits, and network analyzers
Extensive experience working with different operating systems including Windows and Mac OS
Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution
Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently
Professional written and interpersonal skills are essential when communicating with internal staff
Experience installing and configuring computer systems and applications for a large company
Handling switches, routers, NAS (Network Attached Storage) Server and WIFI Extenders
Set Up, configure and maintain Network printers and Local printers
Maintain Biometric and CCTVs
Updating and monitoring of IT Asset Management (Company's belongings)
