IT Consultant Required in Dubai - Dubai

Responsibilities:

Manage LAN/WAN/Internet by administrating the network and performing troubleshooting when required. Furthermore, initiate problem-solving efforts by contacting support personnel within Jotun or external vendors/ISP (Internet service provider).
Provide IT inputs to various factory/office projects in the local company and to make sure required IT infrastructure is in place as per business requirements.
Assist and support end-users by trouble-shooting IT systems and software, registering and follow-up on caretaker tickets.
Co-ordinate with IT vendors in the installation of systems, devices and components and by trouble-shooting problems to enable smooth running of everyday business operations.
Oversee all incidents, events and service requests that are assigned to be resolved and attended to within the service levels dictated in the End-to-End Framework by regular KPI reporting and monitoring.
Be responsible for ensuring relevant maintenance contracts and licenses are maintained and conduct regular reviews to ensure we are compliant.
Maintain existing application systems, workflows, and databases by following business requirements and guidelines and propose best solutions by efficient feasibility studies.
Ensure that Digital IT tools are used effectively by conducting training and this becomes a source of competitive advantage. Have a strong focus on current technological developments, contribute and recommend solutions.
Implement local/regional enhancement projects in line with global and regional strategies through the development/integration of new solutions and business partnering.

What We Look For

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other relevant fields
3 or more years of IT experience
ITIL Foundation
Fluency in English
MS-Office Tool Superuser or proficient level is preferred
Certification in CISCO / Microsoft Power Apps or equivalent is preferred
