About the Role:

Business Development Manager is responsible for maximizing sales of Wiley print and digital content to academic institutions and resellers in Saudi Arabia, and to help achieve and exceed annual sales targets.

How you will make an impact:

Work with Sales Manager, sales colleagues, marketing, sales support, customer service and editorial to deliver on shared objectives and to ensure customer satisfaction.
Develop relations with new prospects and maintain ongoing relations with existing customers as a basis for selling new products and renewing adoption Sales.
Maintain regular contact with customers from a sales, marketing and promotion point of view and utilize face-to-face visits as needed.
Develop and achieve growth for the institutional business model across designated markets.
Represent all relevant products to customers, propose appropriate commercial terms, and negotiate the final sale.
Collect and share customer feedback on Wiley’s offerings, competitor activity and market trends.

What we look for:

Bachelors degree or an MBA, along with at least 3 years of experience in the Publishing industry and Education Technology.
Working knowledge of digital books, formats, and industry-accepted sales models.
Technical and Business Competencies: MS Office applications and SDFC.
Self-Management Competencies: Initiative, creative thinking and strong self-organisation.
Fluency in Arabic and English languages.
Ability to travel regularly and stay away from home.
Good numeracy, accuracy, and attention to detail are essential.
