As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying new sales opportunities, fostering client relationships, and promoting our organization’s products and services within the IFZA Ecosystem. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional with a proven track record in business development and a strong understanding of the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) market.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging markets, products, and customer demands, providing insights for strategic decision-making
Proactively arrange and attend business meetings with potential clients to initiate and nurture leads
Effectively promote our companys products and services, aligning offerings with clients objectives and predicting future needs
Maintain accurate records of sales, revenue, and invoices, utilizing CRM software for efficient tracking and reporting
Deliver reliable after-sales support and gather feedback to enhance customer satisfaction
Cultivate and nurture long-term relationships with new and existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner
Collaborate closely with both the DACH and international sales teams to drive synergies and maximize sales potential
Develop compelling content for meetings and presentations, showcasing findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus
Proven work experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, or a related role, with a track record of achieving sales targets and fostering client relationships
Fluent proficiency in English and German (both written and verbal) is essential
In-depth knowledge of the DACH market
Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently
Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software (e.g., Zoho)
Ability and willingness to travel occasionally throughout the year
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving industry
Effective time management and planning capabilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
